Activate the control plane

Connect your organization to the Threatmatic control plane

Activate the control plane

The Threatmatic control plane is your organization's policy enforcement backbone. It operates across multiple regions with global multicast, ensuring sub-50ms policy signalling to every enrolled endpoint.

Prerequisites

  • A Threatmatic organization created via the Console
  • At least one admin user

Steps

Create your organization

  1. Go to console.threatmatic.com and sign in
  2. Navigate to Organization → Settings
  3. Enter your organization name and primary domain
  4. Click Activate Control Plane

Threatmatic will provision your control plane across the nearest available regions automatically.

Configure your region preferences

By default, Threatmatic selects the optimal regions based on your location. To customize:

  1. Go to Organization → Control Plane
  2. Select your preferred primary and failover regions
  3. Click Save

Threatmatic's multi-region architecture means failover is automatic — you do not need to manage this manually.

Set your organization domain

Adding your domain allows Threatmatic to automatically map user identities to your directory.

  1. Navigate to Organization → Domains
  2. Enter your domain (e.g. acme.com)
  3. Follow the DNS verification steps shown in the Console

Invite your first admin

See Invite your team to add colleagues before rolling out to endpoints.
